Jason Taylor grew up in Southeast Ohio on a 1,000-acre farm, growing grain and raising dairy and beef cattle. He spent his summers working at youth camps throughout high school and college. Camp Barakel runs a week of camp for adults with developmental disabilities. This was usually a highlight of the summer camping season.

Jason worked in the lawn and garden industry for 10 years before switching over to the food and beverage retail industry. He finished a master’s in theology from Rawlings School of Divinity at Liberty University, in Lynchburg, Virginia, in 2019. He was ordained in the Southern Baptist Convention in 2006 as a minister. He is actively involved with youth at Hill Station Baptist Church.

Jason is passionate about helping people grow and reach their fullest potential. He enjoys working with plants and nature to help others achieve their goals and improve their lives. He has mentored others throughout his career to help them achieve their goals. Jason believes that everyone has the right to develop their abilities, grow in community and be respected. As director of operations of O2 Urban Farms, he desires to help others, impart lifelong skills, while promoting love, acceptance, community and fun in the workplace. He is excited to bring his expertise from the lawncare industry to O2 Urban Farms.
