Building connections through safe, enjoyable day services

Something New

As Ken Anderson Alliance, we believe independence goes beyond home and work. We believe in helping individuals find their sense of purpose in creative and interactive ways. As part of our ENGAGE programs, we offer adult day services Monday through Friday each week from 9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Participants can choose from three activity tracks held at our facility in Silverton and through outings in the larger Cincinnati community.

Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Day Services

We focus on activities of daily living (ADL) and supervise medication administration. Staff will be available for dropoff as early as 8:30 a.m. and for pickup no later than 3:30 p.m. Participation space is limited and individuals may only have participation opportunities for two to three days weekly based on track choices.

Our music-based program held Monday through Friday gets folks banging on drums, doodling on keys and singing at the top of their lungs.

Arts And Exploration

Here’s a program where it’s okay to get dirty! Held on Wednesdays, it’s perfect for individuals with a swirling imagination and hands that like to move. This program:

Explores diverse mediums to allow for self-expression.
Empowers participants through art.
Includes both group and individual projects.

Community Engagement

For adults who like to explore, see new places and have fun with friends, our community engagement program on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays offers:

Community outings that allow participants to have meaningful interactions.
Opportunities to learn appropriate social skills and practice community safety protocols.
Integrated life skills.

Driving for Change

Staff will pick up participants between 9 AM-10 AM and we will drop off participants between 3 PM-4 PM. We currently operate on a one staff to 4 participants ratio. Participants must independently be able to use the restroom. Participants are able to pack their lunch or purchase lunch out in the community. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays offers:

Volunteer out in the community at different local organizations
Intergrated life skills and understanding one’s community
Team building

With our program licensed by the Department of Developmental Disabilities, KAA provides programming for special needs adults while encouraging self-care and maximizing functional abilities. Our programs are safe, structured, comprehensive and supervised.

Setup Payments

Waiver rates for our day programs are pre-determined based upon a participant's required level of supervision. Setup program payments via "MY PLAN" waiver funding or privately (billed bi-weekly).
