KAA Golf Classic 2026 Raises Over $189,000 to Support Adults with Disabilities in Greater Cincinnati

Golfers, sponsors, and friends of Ken Anderson Alliance filled Coldstream Country Club on Monday, October 12, 2026, for the KAA Golf Classic. Alongside Bengals legend Ken Anderson, foursomes teed off for a day of great golf and great company, all in support of adults with disabilities across Greater Cincinnati. By the time the awards celebration wrapped up, the day had raised over $189,000 to expand KAA’s programs and reach more adults with disabilities.
The KAA Golf Classic supports Ken Anderson Alliance’s Creative Arts, Work & Job Readiness, and Community-Based programs for adults with disabilities throughout Greater Cincinnati.
Every dollar raised helps create more opportunities for adults with disabilities to build friendships, gain confidence, develop skills, share their talents, and take part fully in community life.

Awards & Celebration
The day wrapped up with food, drinks, and awards as we celebrated the players and the mission together.
Opening with the National Anthem
The day began with Shannon, a participant in KAA’s Music Therapy programming, performing the National Anthem before golfers headed out to the course. It was a fitting start: a reminder of the confidence and self-expression KAA’s Creative Arts programs help participants build, and of exactly who the day was for.
Shannon was supported by KAA’s Urban Soundscapes group, whose participants explore spaces around Greater Cincinnati and create music from the everyday sounds they find there.
A Cannon Launch from T1D Warriors
Golfers also lined up for a Cannon Launch hosted by T1D Warriors, one more reason this year’s Classic was a day to remember.
A Competitive Live Auction
At the awards celebration, Ken Rinehart, a member of KAA’s Board of Directors, led guests through a competitive live auction. Bidders went head to head for signed Bengals memorabilia from Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Joe Burrow, and Ken Anderson himself, foursomes at Coldstream, Kenwood, and Moraine Country Clubs, and a dinner with Kenny at Walt’s Hitching Post.
The Alliance in Action
KAA CEO Patrick Ober took the stage to share what the stories highlighted around the course really mean. From his office in the middle of KAA’s Silverton building, Patrick sees the mission come to life every day.
When participants describe their perfect day, they don’t talk about services. They talk about friendships.
— Patrick Ober, KAA CEO
And more participants are finding those friendships every year. In the last year alone:
21%
growth in music & art program participation
50%
more outings & door-to-door transportation
Through Work & Job Readiness programs, participants also landed jobs at LaRosa’s and HighGrain Brewery.
Patrick shared that much of this growth was made possible by partners whose support reaches far beyond a sponsorship. He called them the connective tissue of the Alliance.
MC Roofing
A New Roof
Presenting Sponsor MC Roofing installed a brand-new Duro-Last roof on KAA’s building and covered the entire cost. Every dollar KAA would have spent on repairs can now stay focused on participants, and the building is safer, more energy efficient, and more sustainable for years to come.
RCF Group
Reimagined Spaces
This summer, RCF Group transformed an unused area of KAA’s building into a modern administrative office. That freed up space for new participant areas, including a second sensory room, and allowed KAA to relocate its art room and increase capacity for Adult Day Services.
Mercedes-Benz of Fort Mitchell
Two New Vehicles
With support from Mercedes-Benz of Fort Mitchell, KAA acquired two transportation vehicles. Since then, KAA has increased outings and door-to-door transportation by 50%, added five full days of community programs each week, and doubled community outings for its day program, giving more adults the chance to work, volunteer, build relationships, and get out into the community while easing the load on families.
KeyBank
Planning for the Future
Through financial planning and educational sessions, KeyBank is helping families navigate the legal and financial decisions that support long-term independence, and plan for one of their biggest questions: what happens when they’re no longer there to provide support.
A new roof, reimagined spaces, two new vehicles, and support for the families we serve as they prepare for the future. None of these is just a gift. Each is a piece of connective tissue that holds this Alliance together.
Thank you to MC Roofing, RCF Group, Mercedes-Benz of Fort Mitchell, and KeyBank for showing us what’s possible when a community says yes.

The Mission Behind the KAA Golf Classic
Ken Anderson Alliance exists to empower adults with disabilities to thrive in the community. We currently serve more than 300 adults with disabilities throughout Greater Cincinnati each month through three core programs:
Creative Arts — Through Creative Arts, KAA participants discover new ways to express themselves, build confidence, and share their talents with the world around them.
Work & Job Readiness — Through Work & Job Readiness, KAA participants develop real, marketable skills that open doors to meaningful employment and greater independence.
Community-Based Programs — Through Community Integration, KAA participants build genuine friendships, find their place in the broader Cincinnati community, and experience the belonging they deserve.
Every dollar raised at the KAA Golf Classic supports KAA’s strategic plan goal of growing its core programs by 50%+ by 2029, creating more opportunities for the adults we serve every day.
Thank You to Our Sponsors
The generosity of our sponsors made the entire day possible, and we are deeply grateful for their commitment to expanding opportunities for adults with disabilities in Greater Cincinnati.
