Autism Rocks 13: A Rocking Success
Thank you to everyone who attended Autism Rocks 13 presented by the Heidt Family Foundation. With your support, we raised a gross revenue of around $78,000. We had close to 800 attendees at Lori’s Roadhouse, plus virtual viewers across the nation. Thanks for rockin’ out with us in support of adults with disabilities.
Shh… It’s a SILENT Auction
Unsurprisingly, Bengals gear was a hot commodity in our silent auction. One of the most sought-after items was the signed Joe Burrow Bengals jersey, and other hot items included footballs signed by current Super Bowl qualifying Bengals players Tee Higgins and Mike Hilton. We’re thrilled that the silent auction portion of our event raised over $19,000.
Our Heartfelt Thanks
Thank you again to our wonderful sponsors and supporters of Autism Rocks. We could not have done it without all of you.
First and foremost, we want to thank the Heidt Family Foundation, our presenting sponsor, for helping us put on this 13th annual fundraiser. Your continued support of Autism Rocks provides opportunities for families to support their loved ones with disabilities, just like David Kahle desired over a decade ago.
We are greatly appreciative of our:
- Quarterback Sponsors: Connetic Ventures, BSI Engineering and ITA Audio Visual Solutions
- Touchdown Sponsors: Safe Haven Farms, Analysis Express and Barbara Hall American Family Insurance
- MVP Sponsors: Key Bank, Impact Autism Foundation, Inspector Chris LLC, McGill Smith Pushon Design, Ohio Eagle Distributing, Grimes Consulting LLC, Pi・E3 Financial Collaborative, Michael K Allen & Associates LLC and Voodoo Kings Kustom Car Club.
Last but not least, there couldn’t be a show without our host, producers and broadcasters. Thank you to Lori’s Roadhouse for hosting our crew of 800 and to Absolute Audio & Video Productions LLC and ITA Audio & Visual Solutions.
The Bands
Thank you to our seven awesome bands for performing and donating their time and talent in support of adults with disabilities:
- Melodic Connections
- DeJa’Vu (60’s cover band)
- Blue Spectrum (Blues)
- Audio Graffiti (Top 40 party band)
- Sweet Sister Mercy (‘80s big hair band)
- Marsha Brady
- Four Aces
It was a special treat to see our very own band, Melodic Connections, take center stage in front of such a large crowd. Melodic Connections believes in connecting all abilities through music. It’s part of the conservatory track in our adult day services program, led by Emily King. We have a team of talented musicians who use the power of music to bring people together.
Be sure to follow the bands on social media to catch their next performance.
