Big Swings and Bigger Impact

Blue skies and sunshine weren’t the only thing on the agenda at the 2025 KAA Golf Classic held at Coldstream Country Club on Monday, October 13.

Twenty-five foursomes tested their skills in the scramble format tournament all in the spirit of supporting Ken Anderson Alliance’s mission to create opportunities and communities for adults with disabilities.

With Harold C. Schott Foundation as presenting sponsor, this was the first year to host the tournament at Coldstream – a perfect backdrop for a day of giving back.

“You won’t find a better course in Cincinnati,” KAA Board and Golf Committee Member Ken Rinehart said. “This was a way to take our golf outing up a notch, and make a real difference in impacting the lives of the participants and families who rely on KAA services.”

After an early lunch and a shotgun start, players competed for men’s and women’s division first and second place teams, longest drive, four closest-to-the-pin holes, two hole-in-one opportunities sponsored by Performance Lexus of Northern Kentucky, and a putting competition.

The Mayernik’s offered a $15,000 match to any gifts pledged that evening. Without hesitation, hands were raised exceeding the match and raising nearly $78,000 that evening.

In total, the 2025 KAA Golf Classic raised gross revenue of over $256,000. This unrestricted funding make it possible for 50 individuals to attend KAA programs each day and pave the way for serving more in the future.
