Omeka Scott is one of those exceptional volunteers for KAA.  She not only lends her time and energetic personality to assist with fundraising events, she also serves and a volunteer with engage outings.  Thank you Omeka for being a wonderful part of our volunteer team.

 Why do you volunteer with KAA?

I volunteer with KAA because they really embrace every person and their uniqueness.  KAA treats each of their clients as respected adults and truly gives them life experiences in an environment that is safe, comforting and joyous. Everyone is treated like a group of friends having a great time 🙂

What would you tell someone considering volunteering with KAA?

I would tell someone who is considering volunteering with KAA is to stop thinking about it and do it.  KAA will welcome you and make you feel like part of the family.  You will always be greeted with a big smile no matter how long it has been since you’ve volunteered.  The KAA family has a variety of volunteer options that I know will fit your own personality that you’ll enjoy!
