Thriving at KAA Includes YOU
At Ken Anderson Alliance, we take the Alliance in our name to heart. As we work to make Greater Cincinnati a better place for adults with disabilities, we understand our strength starts with invaluable partnerships. With people like you – family members, corporate partners, volunteers, philanthropic supporters and other disabilities service providers -- we build thriving advocacy and community.
One in three people in Ohio has a disability. Together, our quest for inclusion, empowers and engages hundreds of adults with disabilities in unique and interesting ways. When you partner with KAA, you invest in:
- Each day, 50 people connect at KAA
- Each week, 10 programs and services meet the individual needs and interests of participants
- Each month, 300 individuals participate in one or more programs
10 distinctive programs and services EVERY WEEK
50 adults with disabilities in KAA programs EVERY DAY
300 unique participants in KAA programs EVERY MONTH
There is much to be proud of in 2025, but there is more work to be done.
Expanding work program paves the way for job preparedness
New in 2026, KAA will be offering a 12-month program, that provides opportunities for adults with disabilities to explore an introduction to the workforce. Director of Community and Work Programming Emily Feuchter and her team developed KAA Explore to add an introductory component for individuals to get familiar with essential skills and local employment opportunities.
“This is an innovative way for young adults with disabilities to explore work after they’ve graduated from high school,” Emily said.
At KAA, connection is the foundation of ten innovative programs and services that are tailored to adults with disabilities. While there are many programmatic opportunities for children with disabilities, when a person is no longer school age, there are fewer ways to connect.
Connection paves the way for belonging which can have a direct effect on mental health. Evidence shows people living with disabilities are at least three times more likely to experience depression compared to the general population.
KAA offers 50+ community outings per month through our two evening programs.
