New Year message from CEO

CEO

Hello and Happy 2026 to KAA supporters!

I am incredibly energized by what the last year’s progress has been, and what future holds for Ken Anderson Alliance. Looking back at 2025, the organization made tremendous strides forward, undertaking a year of strategic identification, alignment, and growth. At Ken Anderson Alliance, a core strength – and the heart of our mission – is to empower adults with disabilities to thrive in the community. Through expanding our Night Out and Out and About Programs, increasing our Art Adult Day Program to 5 days per week, and the launch of our new career exploration and skill development program, KAA Explore – Ken Anderson Alliance has built upon that mission in 2025.  With our incredible staff, we are poised to create even more opportunities for adults with disabilities in the years ahead.

Community alliances of Greater Cincinnati

Additionally, KAA thrives when we can lean into community alliances that expand the reach and impact of our programs. From corporate partners like KeyBank and TQL, to local nonprofit organizations like BLOC Ministries, as well as higher education institutions like Mt. St. Joseph University and the University of Cincinnati, we are blessed to be able to work with incredible community partners that help create positive, quality-of-life benefits to the people we serve every day. The 100+ individual volunteers and corporate groups similarly provide immeasurable assistance to KAA’s programs and mission throughout the year.

2026 goals

As we look at our 2026 goals, KAA plans to sharpen its focus and continue to build its creative arts, community, and job skill-building programs and services. To this end, after careful evaluation and consideration, the KAA Board of Directors and I have determined the most effective way for us to support independent living and housing moving forward is through partnership with organizations that are more primed with their resources. In this direction, KAA can best support independent living by focusing on our current organizational strengths: social programs and services, and collaboration and partnerships with those that promote accessibility and inclusion.

Support KAA

This is a great year to become more engaged with Ken Anderson Alliance. As our programs expand, our need for volunteers and other support continues to grow. We know that we are better when we work together. Please invite someone you know or love to learn about KAA, volunteer with our programs, and support us any way you can. Together we thrive, and the more our alliance can grow, the more we can all do to make positive impacts on the lives of adults with disabilities across Greater Cincinnati!
