Presentation #4 – Trends in Charitable Giving

The Ken Anderson Alliance is excited to welcome Attorney Annie K.T. Warner & Kristina Markiewicz for a 4 part series on Special Needs and Charitable Planning. The presentations will be hosted at our offices in Silverton and also have a ticketing option to attend virtually via Zoom (please make sure you select the correct ticket).

There is no cost to attend the series and lunch will be provided for the in-person attendees.

The fourth and final presentation in our series will focus on the following:

Who doesn’t love supporting their favorite charitable organization? Have you ever wondered if the donation you were already planning could be even bigger without changing your bottom line? Re-thinking your strategy may affect both you and the organization, making a win/win situation for all. Learn how to look at current assets you already have, possibly utilizing tax advantaged strategies giving you maximum impact.

Annie K.T. Warner has a passion for serving others and seeing positive results. Through her work
with families and individuals in estate planning, special needs planning and elder law, she has found
joy in making a difference. Throughout her career Annie has helped hundreds of clients find peace
through planning – whether it be settlement planning, government benefit planning, special needs
or estate planning or elder law issues. She adeptly guides families and individuals on creating plans
that minimize the complications of paying the cost of care while maximizing asset protection.

Annie was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from DePauw University with a
Bachelor of Arts in English Composition. She attended Loyola Law School of Los Angeles (Loyola
Marymount), where she received her Juris Doctorate degree. After practicing in Los Angeles, she
moved back to Cincinnati and began focusing on advocacy and problem solving through her work in
special needs planning and government benefit preservation.

Warner Law Firm, LLC began in 2012 as an endeavor to bring experience and advocacy to the
vulnerable clients and has grown to serve families of all shapes and sizes in a variety of areas.
In 2015 Annie founded Anchor for Special Needs, Inc., a non-profit pooled special needs trust
organization serving disabled individuals through the administration of trust funds and protection
of government benefits.

Annie enjoys traveling with her family; cooking; running and spending time with friends.
