Autism Rocks 14 Showcases Local Musicians This Sunday

Autism Rocks 14, the annual event showcasing live music and celebrating all abilities will take place this Sunday, February 19, at Lori’s Roadhouse in West Chester Township. This is a family-friendly event for all ages.

The annual event began as a celebration of local musical talent, founded by KAA friend David Kahle as a live concert and benefit show for his son Parker, who was diagnosed with pervasive developmental disorder. Parker’s treatments were delayed because of insurance company red tape. Desperate to create a medical fund to begin Parker’s treatments, David asked a few of his band friends to perform at a benefit.

After a successful first show, David knew the benefit had to keep going so more families could support their loved ones with disabilities. The Ken Anderson Alliance is proud to support the show in its 14th year. In addition to great music, the event will feature delicious food, adult beverages, a silent auction and the chance to hear about KAA’s impact, as told by adults with developmental disabilities.

Autism Rocks 14 is presented by the Heidt Family Foundation. Tickets are available here or at the door on Sunday.
